Kin and Kids Outreach and Support Group WorkerNEW LISTING. This full-time position is available in this program for children and caregivers living in a kinship placement family situation in Oneida and Herkimer Counties.  Duties include: work with and act as a resource and advocate for children and caregivers; conduct home visits and make referrals for specialized intervention as needed. Plan "Family Fun Day" activities and events for families and children under 12 years of age. 37.5 hours per week work schedule. Must have drivers license and transportation for required home visits.  Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education or closely related field with related experience preferred OR Associate's Degree in Human Servces, Education or closely related field with substantial experience required. Youth Support Worker
: Search reopened for this full-time position in the PINS Reduction and Elimination Program (PREP). Assist at-risk youth. Duties include: conduct weekly in-school contacts with youth and school personnel. Conduct Saturday one-on-one contacts with youth. Conduct or facilitate group activities including monitoring involvement in appropriate extracurricular activities. Responsible to provide or arrange transportation for youth as needed to approved appointments or for youth with truancy issues.  A flexible work schedule is necessary including working on Saturdays.  Must Drivers License and transportation for required field work.  35 hours per week work schedule. High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of work experience with at risk youth and their families required. EOE
 
Preschool Teacher Assistant: This full-time position is available at our 615 Mary St., Utica childcare center.  Assist in planning and leading age appropriate activities. Provide care for young children's physical needs, which may required lifting and carrying young children. Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with childcare parents and guardians. High School Diploma or GED preferred OR substantial experience working with children under 13 years of age required.  EOE

Clinical Supervisor
 (LCSW required): This full-time position is available at our Child Guidance Clinic in Utica, NY. Excellent benefits package, salary negotiable and relocation funds are available. 37.5 hours per week, Monday thru' Friday schedule with generous time off. Responsibilities include: Guide and direct the clinical and therapeutic service delivery by Social Workers and Counselors. Assist in the recruitment and selection of clinical staff. LIcensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required with  substantial experience in a mental health setting and supervisory experience. EOE 

Peer AdvocateThis part-time position (19 hours per week, without benefits) is available at our Adult Recovery Services program in Rome, NY.  Working as a peer to program participants, duties include promoting and participating in planning and coordinating activities that respond to the needs of adults diagnosed with mental illness. High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with people diagnosed with mental illness required. EOE
