Utica, NY — The Neighborhood Center is partnering with the Utica City School District to offer free enrollment for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) for the upcoming school year. Preschool offers children a solid foundation in social, early academic, and life skills, preparing them for school and beyond. The qualifications for enrollment are that children must be four years old by December 1st,2026 and live in the Utica City School District. Options for half-day or full-day attendance are available, with no fees for eligible participants.
In the Utica City School District: UPK morning or afternoon classes are offered September through June, and they follow the Utica City School District plan. There are student openings for UPK at these Neighborhood Center locations: The Neighborhood Center at 615 Mary Street, Utica, and the North Utica Community Center at 50 Riverside Dr #2321, Utica.
